En resumen, España invirtió en mí, directamente, casi diez millones de pesetas, además de la formación universitaria, y ahora lo está aprovechando otro país: un lugar donde me siento un miembro útil y productivo de la sociedad. El problema más grande es que mi caso no es único. De mis quince compañeros del doctorado, solo dos están trabajando en España, en condiciones lamentables, eso sí, en la Universidad. Solo en nosotros, solo en nuestro pequeño rinconcito de la sala de becarios con sus palomas anidadas en una ventana, el Estado español tiró a la basura 130.000.000. Ciento treinta millones de pesetas que estábamos deseando revertir a la sociedad en aquello para lo que nos habíamos formado, pero no nos resulta posible...."
A Spanish researcher, now living in the U.S.A., looks over the money funds invested by Spain in her formation, which are now of profit to others because of the lack of the adequate estructures in our country.

In summary, Spain invested in me, directly, almost 83,000 US$, besides the University formation and now another country, a place where I feel like a useful and productive member of the society, it is taking advantage of it. The greatest problem is than my case is not unique. Of my fifteen companions of the doctorate, only two are working in Spain in the University, i.e. in lamentable conditions. Only in us, in this small spot of the grant holders room, with its doves nested in the winodws, the Spanish State threw to sweepings 830.000 US$. 830.000 US$ that we were wishing to revert to the society giving that one in which we were educated, but it is not possible..."
